Modus

The art of delicacy. Total chic, displayed through a colour scale of ultra-light half-tones. Refined luxury tempered by good taste and linearity. Modus by Lord reinterprets the aesthetic codes of romantic language in a new stylistic universe pervaded by light and rationality. Decors take the star parts, always precious and never overpowering, used not to catch and hold the eye, but rather to gently entertain it and let it rest, distracting the eye from the visual continuity of the context. The damask decors tend to be basic, presenting themselves as pure icons of classicism, while the mosaics, strictly tone on tone, are in medium-size tesserae to better harmonise with the whole. A modern volute décor simplifies the curvilinear fluidity of Art Nouveau, letting itself be modestly seen against a background of imperceptible watercolour brush strokes.
